    New Internships At EACOP, May 2025

    The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP internships) project is a Midstream development located across Uganda and Tanzania that includes a nearshore Marine Storage and Export Terminal (MST). Once completed, the EACOP Company will operate the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, a 1,443 km long, electrically heated crude oil export pipeline that transports oil from Kabaale – Hoima in Uganda, to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania for crude export to the international markets. The construction of the EACOP Pipeline in combination with the Tilenga and Kingfisher projects will benefit the economies of Uganda and Tanzania include tax revenues for the two Host Governments, job creation, national content, new infrastructure, logistics, skills and technology transfer and enhancement of the trade corridor between Uganda and Tanzania. The EACOP internship and graduate programs focus on cultivating
    intern talent by providing hands-on experience and industry exposure. These programs support local content by engaging young professionals in various departments, enhancing their technical and professional skills. This initiative contributes to regional socio￾economic growth and ensures sustainable development within the East African energy sector.
