New Vacancies At Tanzania Fire and Rescue Force, February 2025

The Tanzania Fire and Rescue Force service in Mainland Tanzania began during the colonial period immediately after the Second World War in 1945, and during that period there was one brigade known as the POLICE FIRE BRIGADE which was managed by the Police Force. In 1950 this brigade was divided into two groups: the Fire Brigade under the Municipal Councils and its management became under the Municipality and the second group was the Fire Brigade under the Airports under the management of the Department of Works, which meant it moved from the management of the Police Force. The goal of the fire department was to provide fire extinguishing services when a fire occurs and conduct training more efficiently, but due to being under the management of different authorities, the efficiency of its work did not satisfy the government leaders and then the government decided to make strategies to improve the service. We strive to preserve life and property, promote public safety and respond to all calls for emergence assistance within the community by operating efficiently and in accordance with national policy guidelines and international standards.
