Kilimanjaro Airports Development Company Limited (KADCO Limited) is a Government owned Company, having perpetual succession and a common seal charged with the responsibilities of operating, managing and developing the Kilimanjaro International Airport and its facilities. The Company was established through the Companies Act, Cap. 212 with Certificate of Incorporation dated 11th March, 1998 under PPP model. In 2010, the Government of Tanzania acquired all Company shares and become the sole owner of the Company. The Kilimanjaro Airport Development Company Ltd is a corporate body having perpetual succession and common seal charged with responsibilities of operating or managing airports and airports facilities and to develop the assets of airports facilities in anyway. It has a power to sue and to be sued. The company was incorporated under the Companies Ordinance (CAP,212), 2002 as limited liability Company domiciled in the United Republic of Tanzania whose shares are not publicly traded. As such, KADCO has power to enter into such contracts as it may consider necessary or expedient for the purpose of performing its functions.
