Established as a franchisee of The Coca-Cola Company, BBL is authorized to bottle and distribute a variety of Coca-Cola products in several regions of northern Tanzania, including Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, and parts of the Singida region. In addition to Coca-Cola beverages, BBL produces its own brand of bottled water, Kilimanjaro Drinking Water. BBL is a subsidiary of the IPP Group of Companies, founded by the late Dr. Reginald Mengi.
