PATH Tanzania Vacancies is an international organization that drives transformative innovation to lives and improve health, especially among women and children. We accelerate innovation across five platforms-vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, devices, and system and service innovations-that harness our entrepreneurial insight, scientific and public health expertise, and passion for health equity. With a vision to provide all patients with access to the lifesaving medical oxygen they need, this project seeks to reduce maternal, child, and overall mortality from hypoxemia-related causes through improved access to high quality oxygen services at all levels of the health care system. PATH’s Diabetes CarePak Project uses human-centered design to develop a bundled set of diabetes supplies that enable safe administration of insulin and diabetes selfcare. Phase 3 of the Diabetes CarePak project is a mixed-methods, longitudinal randomized control study to explore the health impact and cost- effectiveness of the use of Diabetes CarePak by People Living with Diabetes (PLWD) in sixteen Districts of Tanzania. The participating districts include: Mbarali DC, Chunya DC, Kyela DC, Mbeya DC (Mbalizi), Mafinga DC, Iringa MC, Vwawa DC, Kwimba DC, Misungwi DC, Chato DC, Tarime TC, Maswa DC, Bariadi TC, Tabora MC, Shinyanga MC and Songea MC. The study is anticipated to run for six months beginning from July 2024.
