The British High Commission Tanzania maintains and develops relations between the UK and Tanzania. We develop and maintain relations between the United Kingdom and Tanzania. We deal with a wide range of political, commercial, security and economic questions of interest to the UK and Tanzania. We support British nationals in Tanzania, both in the mainland and Zanzibar. Working at the British High Commission offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to grow professionally while collaborating with a talented group of individuals. Our job opportunities are open to Tanzanian nationals and non Tanzanian nationals who hold a work permit to work in m Tanzania. Selection is based on the competencies and skills demonstrated by applicants in their applications. Short listed candidates will be invited to an interview. All interviews are conducted in English. For some posts, candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre. The assessment centre is a process which complements the panel interview system whereby we try to identify whether candidates have the personal traits and characteristics most suited to the post.
