Social Action Trust Fund (SATF) has experience of more than 20 years in providing care and support services to most vulnerable children and address the impact resulted by HIV/ AIDS and poverty in Tanzania. The Trust was capitalized by the United States Agency for Development (USAID) and was registered under the Trustee’s Incorporation Ordinance (Cap 375) of 1956. The Trust operates in 16 regions and 32 districts of Tanzania Mainland. To support MVC to attain their full potentials through provision of basic services. Productive members of the society emerging from Transformed MVC. SATF works with local registered Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Faith Based Organizations(FBOs), Community Based Organizations(CBOs) at the grassroot levels in collaboration with: Central Government, Local Government Authorities, Developing partners, Education institutions, Private sector. The Trust activities are aligned with the International and local policies and guidelines such as: Sustainable Development Goals, Tanzania Development Vision 2025. Also guided by the following national guidelines: National Coasted Plan of Action for Most Vulnerable Children (NCPAI & II), National Guidelines for Improving Quality of Care, Support, and Protection for Most Vulnerable Children in Tanzania (2009).
